The Terms and Conditions

Bookings are only secured with a minimum deposit of 50%. Cheques to be made payable to Compass Carriage Company.

The balance of the booking must be settled 1 month before the date of hire unless prior agreement has been made. If a booking is made less than 1 month before the date of hire, payment must be made in full.

All cancellations should be made in writing[5days] or Email[48hrs] to The Compass Carriage Company  before the booking date. A £20 administration charge will be taken from refunded deposits. Should a booking be cancelled without the appropriate notice, an invoice will be issued for full payment.

  Compass Carriage Company operates a strict no smoking policy in its vehicle. Any infringement of this condition may result in termination of the hire.

The consumption of food and beverages whilst in the vehicle will be at the discretion of the Compass Carriage Company. Alcohol consumption will not be permitted in the vehicle at any time.

The Compass Carriage Company will not tolerate the use of drugs or other illegal substances. Clients found in breach of this condition will have their hire terminated immediately.

The Compass Carriage Company reserves the right to refuse transportation of either passengers, if unfit to travel (including intoxication from alcohol) or luggage if the vehicle is deemed overweight.

In accordance with current legislation, seatbelts must be worn at all times by all passengers.

The person making the booking is considered to be responsible for the conduct of all passengers and for any damage caused by them to the interior or exterior of the vehicle as a consequence of their behaviour. Valet charges from £80 will be billed to the client in the event of spillage or vomit.

The Compass Carriage Company accepts no responsibility for and will not be liable to make refunds due to missed flights, ships or connections caused by mechanical error or failure, accident, flood, snow, wind, roadworks, slippages, diversions, riots, acts of terrorism or illness.

In the event of an unforeseen circumstance that results in The Compass Carriage Company not being able to fulfil the agreement, an alternative method of transport may be offered or a full refund given. The Compass Carriage Company does not accept further liability.

Although The Compass Carriage Company will ensure that every care is taken, no responsibility will be given to the loss or damage to luggage or personal items.

Any changes to your booking details must be agreed with The Compass Carriage Company prior to your booking date and may be subject to additional charges.

The Compass Carriage Company reserves the right to change, amend or revise the above terms and conditions without notice. Please clarify any concerns prior to confirmation.

Any booking constitutes agreement of the above terms and conditions.
